City of Surrey’s Annual “PIC-KNIT”, Surrey Museum, Cloverdale. Come join us outside on the lawn for this popular family event. Sat. Aug.14th, 11am-4pm. Demos by spinners, weavers and knitters, knitting vendors, hands-on activities and more… The Surrey Museum is located at 17710 56A Avenue in Cloverdale, (604)592-6956. Admission is free to the event and the museum on this day.

Come join the Guild and local BC Fibre Vendors for a relaxing and fun day at Historic Stewart Farm. Come to spin or just relax in this lovely setting. We’ll be on the lawn under our canopy Sat. Jul. 31, 10am-3pm. There’s no admission and refreshments are available to purchase.  Stewart Farm is operated by the City of Surrey and is located at 13723 Crescent Road, Surrey, BC.

In mid July we’ll be back at our home location… I have mixed feelings of course (especially given all the work we did to get the shop up and running!), but am looking forward to continuing as we began; at our home shop, on-line, trade shows and more time with my young family. I’ll have regular hours starting July 15 (we’ll be open Thursday to Saturday, 11am-2pm) and will be attending the trade shows/fairs listed in this newsletter.
